Athena Barbieri was the founder of  “Electrolysis by Athena", in Amherst MA in 1993.   She graduated from the Kree Institute of Electrology in NY in 1965 and has been a Registered Electrologist for over 40 years, licensed in NY and MA and recently retired.   

Lorraine Barbieri is a Massachusetts Registered Electrologist with over 13 years experience.  She graduated from the Electrology Institute of N.E. in Tewksbury, MA in 1997 and joined her Mother, Athena in the business.  She is a member of the American Electrology Association (AEA) as well as the Massachusetts Association of Electrologists (MAE) and has earned continued education approved credits in electrology for the highest standards of practice.
